qualifications must be at least 21 years of age with at least two years experience in the business environment.

Exemptions are allowed from 4 units, with the exception of the Integrative Unit (Improving Supply Chain Performance), unit by unit
on content by prior qualification or experience. Qualifications which have a relevant content must be a level 5 or above or their
equivalent as determined by CIPS, such as a degree from a recognised University. Only units/modules studied after year 1 of an
undergraduate programme will be accepted for consideration.

have at least two years of relevant industrial experience and are working in an operations management environment. Students
normally require the minimum educational requirements permitting entry to a university first degree course, or equivalent.
Mature candidates, without these normal entry qualifications, who would be able to derive benefit from the course may be
permitted exceptional entry. Student holding the Institute’s Certificate in Operations Management will be considered for entry to
the Diploma course.
