Distance Learning

distance learning This is our flagship; DLC started out by delivering high quality and flexible distance learning programmes with a difference. We use some of the top experts in the country to ensure the maximum return on investment for both individuals and their companies. This method of training allows the individual to study at a time that suits them to ensure they get the most out of the time they put in.The learner has expert support to ensure they are able to implement what they have learned; and a personal tutor to structure their learning to ensure motivation is maintained throughout.

durham logistics college Durham Logistics is regarded as one of the countries leading experts with the provision of distance learning across the UK, Europe and wider world. DLC’s unique approach to distance learning was recognised in 2004 with the award of the best Training and development provider for the UK, which was quickly followed by Centre of Excellence status.

Our distance learning provides individuals and companies with the opportunity to develop skills, reach high standards and balance this important activity with both work and life commitments.

Distance learning has always been regarded as the ideal study method - free of travel, free of having to study when the mind is not ready to receive new information, free of hotel and travel costs, free of time away from the work place. This study method fits in with work, overtime, peaks in demand at work or in personal lives.

Studies have consistently shown that distance learning benefits the candidate, who on average achieves 20% better results than classroom trained candidates. Also, distance learning candidates progress within industry a lot faster against their classroom counterparts.

Now that Durham Logistics College has developed the ultimate package for distance learning you can rest assured that this is going to be an excellent and rewarding experience.

The Durham Logistics College - Distance learning Experience won us our Training provider of the year award and was a key part of DLC being awarded Centre of Excellence status. Please click here to read about the Durham Logistics distance learning experience.
