The CILT (UK) Professional Diploma is also a suitable level of qualification for graduates entering the logistics and transport profession for the first time. View Course CIPS Level 3 This award can be studied by UK members and is the ideal entry for anyone new to the profession as no prior qualifications or experience is required. This is ideal for people who have been in a purchasing role for less then two years. It will be the first step in your career. View Course CIPS Level 4 This course is suitable for students aiming for strategic career goals or those who intend to specialise in key areas. This is ideal for people who have been in a purchasing role. At least two A Levels, or the equivalent as determined by CIPS. Also acceptable are any CIPS Level 3 Certificates and any other Level 3 qualifications which CIPS consider to be equivalent. Applicants without any prior qualifications must be at least 21 years of age with at least two years experience in the business environment. View Course CIPS Level 5 People who have achieved Level 4 foundation diploma award or be exempt. This course is for students aiming for strategic career goals or those who intend to specialise in key areas. Exemptions are allowed from 4 units, with the exception of the Integrative Unit (Improving Supply Chain Performance), unit by unit on content by prior qualification or experience. Qualifications which have a relevant content must be a level 5 or above or their equivalent as determined by CIPS, such as a degree from a recognised University. Only units/modules studied after year 1 of an undergraduate programme will be accepted for consideration. View Course CIPS Level 6 Must have achieved Level 5 award or been exempt. Exemptions allowed from optional units only, unit by unit on content, by prior qualifications or experience. View Course CMI Level 2 This qualification is suitable for people who have operational or line management responsibility for a small team in all industries. View Course CMI Level 3 This qualification is designed for supervisors and first line managers who have operational responsibility for a defined area of activity. There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification. However, candidates are likely either to hold a Certificate in Team Leading and/or have a few years experience at supervisory or first line management level. View Course CMI Level 5 Suitable for middle managers waiting to acquire the knowledge and skills to develop their career in management (preferably with 5 years management experience). The qualification consists of five units which all candidates have to take, and three units selected from another five units. View Course IOM Level 3 This qualification can be studied nationally and internationally and is ideal for people already working in the field who would benefit from a wider perception of their role and have no formal qualifications. Mature candidates, without these normal entry qualifications, who would be able to derive benefit from the course may be permitted exceptional entry.
