Durham Logistics College holds monthly open Student Workshops. These Workshops are designed to provide existing, and actively studying, distance learning or classroom based course students an additional study environment. This covers student studying any of our institute qualifications which include: The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport The Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply The Institute of Operations Management The Chartered Management Institute The Institute of Exports The Institute of Leadership and Management The facilities can be used in a number of different ways. You can come in and use the room alone as a quiet location - you need only book in advance. You can come in and complete a start-up session / induction for your course - specific requirement to be communicated in advance. You can come in if you are having problems with a task, unit or an individual piece of work - specific requirement to be communicated in advance. Support can also be offered in a number of ways - specific requirements will need to be communicated in advance. A tutor expert specific to your field can be available. Where possible your specific course tutor will be available Use of our extensive library of materials and course specific reading materials or case studies. Mock exams can be sat under examination conditions. We hold our Student Workshops on the same day every month. So if you're not able to make one session we can easily accommodate you during the next session.
